This novella was a real humdinger...lust, emotional baggage, past relationships and the "oh i didn't think that would happen" plot. The characters are three dimensional and the plot as always reads true to what could happen in real life which helps you relate the story and become a part of it.As with all Elizabeth Loraine's books her main character is a kick ass chick with a lot going on but isn't scared to face it and become stronger. The supporting characters have as much depth as the main character which makes for great reading. I'm just sad its a novella! Its a great little read with everything from turmoil to times of great happiness. A must read for a quiet Sunday afternoon in front of a warm fire with a nice hot drink of something. You will laugh, you will cry and at the end you will sigh!

Set in the beautiful mountains, this book is a sweet little love story with some very emotional twists and turns. I enjoyed getting to know the main characters and watching their love blossom, even with satellite characters throwing their feelings in for good measure. Who will the protagonist end up with? Keep reading to find out! It’s worth every moment spent.
This book would be a lot better if the editing was done better, if plot line flowed better. This story stopped at 87% of the downloaded book. The rest? That was the first chapter of another book.
It took me a long time to read this book, because I got bored and tired of trying to figure out where I was at in the book. Timeline changes between 1 paragraph and the next.
Female character is weakly written, male is just a jerk. Author knowledge of basic fire safety is questionable. For a section you have no clue where the female is, until a voice mail is written into the story.
Over all sadly, I couldn't find a good thing about this story.
This book was just ok for me I would have like a little more to it.
So I have been a big fan of E.L. Loraine for a while so I am not surprised at all that i fell totally in love with this book. The book takes place in beautiful mountains and the way she write the details about them and the sunsets is amazing. I have never been anywhere like she describes however I could visualize it with the descriptions that she wrote. I fell in love with her characters. Lorna and Wiley had me completely intrigued and wrapped up in their lives. Both facing down their demons and trying to make themselves better. And I must say that Wiley's mom Grace was awesome. I loved her! E.L. Loraine really pulled out a good one here!
This story is the perfect combination of every emotion known to man. It had me giggling at times, on the verge of tears and even feeling a little angry. E.L. Loraine tells this story so beautifully detailed, as if she experienced this herself. She defined the setting in the mountains with exquisite detail. She details each character so well, you fee like they are family.
Lorna is a broken woman who relocates after a nasty breakup. Upon starting over, she never expected the hand she was dealt. She meets the gorgeous farm hand, reunites with old family friends and stumbles on the mean valley neighbor. Once again, tragedy struck leaving her helpless and vulnerable. Does she pull her head out of the ashes or does she let the tragedy consume her?
This book is a necessity for all of you cowboy lovers and romantics. You will find yourself just like the rest of us, laughing, crying, angry and hurt; but left feeling complete.
Good story, words are a little out of line in some sentences. The story jumps a little between people and time and can be a little hard to fallow a time.
